A former South Carolina teacher was accused of a long -term relationship with a teenager.
Anderson Sharif Provincial Office said Nicole Palo Kaloham, 33, handed over to the Anderson County detention center on Thursday.
She was accused of three charges related to criminal sexual behavior with a minor and one charge to contribute to a minor delinquency.
Investigators began an investigation into Callem in May and found that the alleged misconduct started in 2021 and lasted for at least two years.
The authorities said that Kalham, a teacher at the time, began to “prepare behavior” with the boy in the early teenage years.
Sharif’s office said: “The relationship intensified because it fell out of the school, and transferred him to practices and worked as a post -school supervisor,” Sharif office said. “These repeated reactions led to a long pattern of abuse, which was confirmed by the continuous research and cooperation orders with the victim’s family.”
The authorities said that after reaching 18 years old, the boy said, “The next time spent the treatment and shock associated with abuse.”
In addition to the charges in Anderson Province, the Greenville Police Department has made similar charges against Kalham.
The alleged behavior extended to his jurisdiction when the boy joined the school in Greenville.
Calham resigned from Anderson V School.
