A cargo ship in Liberian, which was attacked by the rebels in the Houthis on Wednesday in the Red Sea, said a European naval force in the Middle East that six out of 25 people on board had been rescued.

The attack on eternity, which also killed at least three crew, represents the most dangerous attacks by the Houthis on the crucial maritime trade road where a trillion dollars were passed in shipping once a year.

From November 2023 to December 2024, the Houthis targeted more than 100 ships with missiles and drones in a campaign described by the rebels as supporting the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip during the Israeli war. Iranian supporters suspended their attacks on a ceasefire in the war.

They later became a target for an intense campaign for weeks of air strikes ordered by US President Donald Trump.

The attack on eternity C, as well as the sinking of the magic carrier, the bulletin carrier in another attack on Sunday, raises new questions about the safety of the Red Sea, as ships slowly began to return to their waters.

Meanwhile, there is still a possible new ceasefire in the Israel War-Sahmas-as well as the future of talks between the United States and Iran on the nuclear program that harms Piran-in the balance.

“We are now very concerned about a vision of escalation in the Red Sea with attacks on two commercial ships earlier this week by Ansar Allah, which led to a civil loss in life and losses as well as the possibility of environmental damage,” UN envoy Hans Gundberg warned, using another name for the rebels.

6 of 25 were rescued on the plane

A statement issued by the European Naval Union mission in the Red Sea said that the ship’s crew included 22 sailors, including 21 Filipino and one Russian, as well as a security team of three members. Those who were rescued five Filipinos and one of the Indians were.

The European Union force said that three people were killed during the attack, which lasted for hours on the ship, and their forces were not immediately known.

The European Union force said that the armed rebels attacked the ship with pens running missiles and small weapons, later using two drones and two drones carrying bombs to hit the ship. He added that the eternity C sank at 7:50 am Wednesday.

The ship, which has been marked by Liberia but owned by a Greek company, is likely to be targeted like magic seas on its company that deals with Israel. None of the ship was asked to accompany the European Union’s strength.

In the US military, there are two aircraft in the Middle East, USS Nimitz and USS Carl Vinson, but most likely in the Arab Sea, away from the location of the attacks. There are two types of American destroyers believed to be working in the Red Sea.

However, the ships that attacked any US ties and the ceasefire between the Houthis and America, which were announced after the bombing campaign earlier this year still seemed to be held.

Dean. General Yahya Sarri, a Houthi military spokesman, claimed the attack in a message that was previously recorded on Wednesday night, as the European Union’s strength admitted that it was still searching for those who saved in the private industry.

The Houthis later released footage of them firing missiles in eternity C. The bridge seemed severely damaged by the attack and the oil leaked from the ship.

The ship took the water from holes along its water line before it drowned under the waves, and they are the rebels repeating: “God is the greatest; death to America; death to Israel; the curse of the Jews; victory for Islam.”

The Houthis released a similar video after their attack on the Sounion in August 2024 and on Tuesday of their attack on the magic seas.

The attacks are subjected to condemnation and support for sailors

In the Philippines, the Minister of Migrant Workers Hans Kakdak said that he is leading an effort to reach the families of the missing Filipino seaports for their update in search and rescue efforts.

“It is a human nature to be very concerned and amazing about the situation,” Kakdak told Associated Press on the phone.

“Our role in the government is to be there for them in the utmost degree of need to ensure that there are no government services, but throughout the process of sticking to the hand, we will provide the necessary support.”

The attacks on ships sparked international condemnation.

“These attacks prove the constant threat of the Iranian -backed Houthi rebels on freedom of navigation and the regional economic and maritime security,” said US State Department spokesman Tami Bruce.

“The United States has been clear: We will continue to take the necessary measures to protect freedom of mobility and commercial charging from Houthi terrorist attacks.”

The European Union force said earlier that one of the wounded crew lost his leg.

Grendberg, the United Nations envoy, also criticized the targeting of civil infrastructure after Israel bombed three Houthi -controlled ports in Yemen during the weekend and hit the power plant.

During a speech to the Security Council, he warned: “Yemen should not be attracted in regional crises that threaten to reveal the very fragile situation in the country.”

Satellite images show damage from an Israeli blow

The satellite images analyzed by the Associated Press showed new damage in the Yemeni port, which is controlled by the rebel in Hodeida after it was targeted by Israeli air strikes.

Pictures of Planet Labs PBC showed new parts of the sidewalk in the port of the Israeli bombing, which are likely to affect the emptying of the shipping there.

In the strike, Israel said that the Houthis used the port to smuggle military equipment into the country, which is getting anxious from analysts and Yemeni monitors in recent years. Hodeida is the main entry point for food and other humanitarian aid for millions of Yemenis.

According to Jamal Amer, the Houthi official, on Wednesday, the shipments still reach “smoothly” to Hodida.

In the comments published by the Houthi satellite channel, Amer also said that the damage to the port “directly affects civilians and is a disgrace to the United Nations, which is complicit in these crimes through its suspicious silence.”

The Yemen war began when the Houthis seized SANA in 2014.
