Devin Haney, Brian Norman jr each other’s nuck
Devin Haney and WBO Brian Norman Jr.’s welterweight champion met up today in New York City. Haney size (32-0, 15 ko) and Norman Jr. (28-0, 22 kos) the size of each other before fighting them on November 22nd at Arena anb in Riyadh.
You could see that there was no difference between them. That’s not surprising because Devin tends to rehydrate the 160s, and does not fight. So, it’s going to get some size on it. The difference is that Haney size does not translate for more power.
Bill Haney’s confidence level
“You don’t look too big. You look small,”Bill Haney said of Norman Jr.
Bill should not become too confident because Norman JR can punch like an ox, and he krytonite to his son if he lands one of his bricks on November 22nd. Devin looked like a textbook example of Jerry in his last fight against Jose Ramirez last May in New York. It was after the incident that Turki Alalshikh announced his Directive No Tom and Jerry Fights.
“We train for the best Devin Haney former Garcia and Post-Rhydan Garcia,” said Brian Norman Sr. Fighthype For his son, Battle of Brian Norman Jr against Hany in November. “We look at all his fighting, studying what he can and can’t do. In my mind, the best for him has no counter for the best Brian Norman Jr.”
The best haney no longer exists for these reasons:
- He is no longer 135: without the huge size advantage Devin had when fought lightly, he is a different person in welterweight. That size advantage was the key to its success in that weight class.
- Still be disturbed by the loss to Ryan Garcia
- Lacking power for 147
“I think Devin did in his last battle, you can find that as running because that is a little excessive,” said Norman Sr. “Turki hosts the show. He is the one who had a problem with the situation of Tom and Jerry. Turki doesn’t like that. So why would he pay to see that again?”
Devin will fight the way he always does by moving, holding, and stiff-armed Norman Jr. He will build confidence when Shakur Stevenson escapes running through the night against William Zepeda on Saturday. If Turki doesn’t make a big deal of it, Haney will feel free to run to include his heart against Norman Jr. He will force him to the role of ‘Tom’.
Norman Sr warns Haney
“I imagine it will come with a better game plan than running. He already saw that Turki is not like that, and the fans don’t like that. He got a lot of criticism for that, And won’t work anyway, ” says Norman Sr.
Haney will still try to run because he is not going to stand and fight Norman Jr. and wind up in the same position as he was when Ryan Garcia fought last year. He would have run and survived for 12 rounds than standing and was removed by Norman Jr.
