Alyssa Thomas scored 12 points from 29 points in the fourth quarter, and Phoenix Mercury closed on a 19-4 round to overcome Minnesota Linux 79-71 on Wednesday.
Thomas, who was starting from her tripartite trip on Monday, 14 of 24 of the field to top her level in 28 points. She also had eight rebound balls and five passes.
